Governor Gregoire has said I-960 is a waste of money???

Tim Eyman's response: "Since 2005, there have been 205 "emergency" bills signed into law by Governor Gregoire; each one negated the people's constitutionally-guaranteed right to referendum... they've taken the tax increase "off-budget" in order to circumvent the two-thirds requirement... Governor Gregoire only identifies one of the ways the voters have to hold politicians accountable: electing or unelecting representatives... she fails to acknowledge and respect our state Constitution which guarantees the people the right to referendum and right to initiative." 26 Sept 2007
